First entry for my Japanese learning blog.
I’ve been learning Japanese for about 2.5 months now.
I started with duo lingo a smattering of podcasts, and YouTube videos but as time has moved on I’ve come to use duo lingo less and less and have focused primarily on Spaced depiction algorithms like Jpdb. And wanikani:l which is still in the free trial part.
I’m debating moving to a more formal products like genki or WaniKani’s textbooks textfugo.
Sometimes it feels like I’ve learned a bit, but then I look at basically any piece of Japanese media and understand basically nothing. It’s pretty frustrating. Graded readers are helped a little bit with this and Satori reader is nice as well.
I think I have to carve out a ritualistic time to study Japanese every day for some short amount of time like half an hour.
