Game Events
- Players enter Bywater and learn of an abandoned mine outside of town from the bar-hand who gave them food that had fallen on the floor: players meet and question a folksy stable boy who returned from the cave with raw gems. He tells them of a sleeping owl bear and bats.
- Players search through piles of trash and refuse and find a suite of random objects: improvised weapons, a few supplies, some makeshift equipment.

- Hex crawling eschewed for session 1
- Players arrive, players enter cave anela by sleeping owl bear, climb chute with hats covered in a large piece of canvass.
- Players explore most of the upper levels and discover mineshafts. Players kill 2 trapdoor spiders, the second containing the naive wayfarer.
- Make sure to retcon that it looks like the wayfarers equipment had been rummaged through long ago- also provide coins
- Players suspend sessions there in relative safety of spider holes.

- PC’s checked-in in Bywater with Darj- a newly arrived black Clack coordinator who gave them some extra supplies and some leads on treasure
- Darj also let’s them know that Doran is funding this operation and they are paying handsomely for maps of

- PCs left on the NW road looking for a tower
- A bedraggled black cloak named Dominic begged them for help with saving his friends which fell off a cliff underground
- PCs agreed to help him
- PCs follow Dominic to the old mines
- An old injured wolf is waiting on the side of a hill above the mine
- The PCs dispatch it
- PCs descend through an alternate entrance shown to them by Dominic
- PCs find the cliff and the injured/dead black cloaks below
- PCs discover that one (Roger) is still alive and the other is likely dead (Rory)
- PCs extract the living black cloak and bring them back to town
- PCs being Roger to the healer in town, pay her for her services and rent the nicest room in the tavern for all of them to stay and recuperate.

- PCs head into the wilds following the Northwest Road
- PCs scout and see a dolmen and a tower in the distance as night falls
- PCs camp at the dolmen and find it made of the same stone as Bywater’s road, the statue, and foundations.
- Ov and Mud snort moondust
- Ov and Mud see the stones of the Dolmen pulsating with a dark blue/green aura
- Ov and mud have strange transportive experiences and speak to a Gr
- The Gr explains that the site is of ancient and sacred significance, the island they are on is one of the ancestral homes of the Gr and that many entities have swept through since
- Ov asks if he can help but the Gr says that he will keep watch over the party and determine if they are appropriate people to help them
- In the morning the players head toward the tower
- Players explore the tower and find it made from several different materials rangin from the ancient black stone, a newer stone, and wood.
- Find that the floor is routinely marked with numbers
- Are attacked and attack dire pelicans which kill Ov
- Mud and Muk continue exploring and find a horde of treasure with around 2,500gp in total value.
- Mud and Muk bring the treasure back to Bywater.
